Thompson Oil Filter
Relocation Kit
The oil filter on the 1st and 2nd generation Miata's is in a
terrible spot. Up high on the right side of the block and
completely blocked from the top by intake hardware. Only very
small hands can fit in to space available. Many owners have
installed this type of kit to make access to the oil filter
easier. The Thompson kit is by far the best in design and
execution. The oil filter is moved to just behind the
passenger headlight assembly.
